Friday morning Book Club

Have you been looking for something to do on a Friday morning? Do you enjoy reading? Do you enjoy interacting with others who love reading? Why not book into the new Friday morning Book Club at the library starting March 25 at 10.45am for a 11am start. Limited spaces so bookings are a must. Morning tea will be available for a gold coin.

Junior Book Club 2021

I am looking for students in years 4, 5 and 6 who answer yes to any of the following questions to join the new Junior Book Club

  • Love to read but don’t know what to read next
  • Love the idea of reading but don’t have the confidence to read like everyone else
  • Struggle to read because it is all just too hard

Once a month we will meet to

  • discuss books that you are reading
  • encourage you to select books that you normally wouldn’t choose
  • encourage you to select books that you think are above your reading level
  • recommend/swap books amongst the group
  • and most importantly have fun

Day: 2nd Wednesday of the month (Feb 10, Mar 10, Apr 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, Aug 11, Sep 8, Oct 13 and Nov 13)

Time: 5 – 6pm

Location: Grenfell Public Library
