Activities and events well underway at the library

Activities and events have been slowly returning to the library this year with a number of new activities being added to the calendar.

Preschool Storytime is held every second Wednesday at 10am during school term.

Friday morning Book Club started this year on the final Friday of the month at 11am.

The cinema has continued and there are more movies becoming available as the year progresses.

Housebound deliveries continue every second Thursday at 9am for those who are unable to visit the library due to illness or disability.

Junior Book Club is returning this month on the second Thursday of the month at 4.30pm. The club is for kids in years 4 to 7.

Saturday morning kids craft has commenced this year on the last Saturday of the month at 10am. The session is for kids aged 3 to 8.

Friends of Grenfell Library (FOGL) has returned to face to face meetings this year. They are held in the library on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 2pm.

After a long break Lego Club is returning in June for kids aged 5 to 12 on the first Friday at 3.30pm.

National Simultaneous Storytime is back this May.

On August 25 the Library will be celebrating its 75th anniversary.

In September the library will be hosting its first (and hopefully not the last) Grenfell’s Booklovers Festival with three Australian authors visiting for a four day event. Keep an eye out for further details.
