LIBRARY LINES for week beginning 30 August 2021

The Library closure has been extended

NSW Health announced on Thursday 16 that due to ongoing concerns about community transmission, stay-at-home orders in place for regional NSW will be extended by two weeks, until at least 11:59pm on 10 September, in line with existing orders for the Greater Sydney area.

Everyone must stay at home unless they have a reasonable excuse to leave. They also cannot have visitors in their home from outside their household, including family and friends.

This means that I will be contactable by telephone and email; however the Library will be closed for over the counter assistance until further notice.

This is a challenging time for us all, we apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience as we work together to reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19.

Due to the new restrictions starting on Monday 16 August I can only offer a delivery service within the town limits. You must already be a library member to access this service. Please check the library website https://grenfellpubliclibrary.org.au for further updates.

All reading options will be available. This means you can read books from the public library, school library, BorrowBox, indyreads, Story Box Library or your own home.

You have to be in it to win.
