Upcoming Saturday night movie

The next Saturday night movie will be Never too late starring James Cromwell, Jacki Weaver and Shane Jacobson. This is rated M. Synopsis: A group of elderly people decide to break out of their retirement home but end up in unexpected and hilarious situations. Seats must be prebooked via the Library.

Second-hand toy sale

A second-hand toy sale is running now. Yes I am putting more toys out for you to borrow as well. This sale will enable me to update the collection and see properly what we have. So please support the sale to support the library.

Presentation day for 1,000 Books before school program coming up

For those starting kindergarten this year please have your completed logs to me by Saturday 6 March to receive your final certificates.

The next presentation day will be Saturday 13 March at 10am.

Free online Author talks

The next free talk is with author Deborah Rodriguez talking about her new book The Moroccan Daughter on Thursday 4 Mar at 1pm. Bookings need to be made through Eventbrite.

Do you want to attend these events but never have the time? Well some of these free talks do get recorded and made available for you to view on the NSW Library Events channel At the moment you will find recordings from talks with Sir General Peter Cosgrove, Andrew Pippos, Craig Reucassel, Lauren Chater, Garth Nix and Chris Hammer. The latest talk Greek Cafes and Milkbars of Australia has now been uploaded if you missed the talk recently.

Story Box Library now available to be accessed in Library

Some people would have noticed the new TV that has been installed in the kids’ section of the library. We have hooked up the Story Box Library for you to utilise while in the library. Just ask next time you are visiting.

Are you aware that as a member you have free access to different platforms for eBooks and eAudiobooks? Don’t forget that for the kids we have free access to Story Box Library. More information is available on the library website at
