LIBRARY LINES for week beginning 14 September 2020

New online suggestion form

Something that I have been meaning to do for some time now but here we are finally.

You will now find on the library website a suggestion to purchase form.

If you think of an item that would be of interest for library members and are unable to locate in the library catalogue then please fill in the form.

New bookmarks now available

This past week I have released new bookmarks listing similar authors to popular author names. Such as James Patterson, Fiona McIntosh, Daniel Silva, Fleur McDonald, Jeffery Archer, Di Morrissey, David Baldacci, and Rachel Treasure. If there are others you would like to see please let me know.

The second-hand book sale is now on

The second-hand book sale has returned. Please help support your local library in buying old library stock. All funds raised is spent on new stock for the library. Cash sales only. Please bring your own bags.

Storytime will not be returning for a while, but you have free access to Story Box

Use it as a bedtime tale, a facilitator for discussion in the classroom, a complement to library Storytime, or a read aloud model – the choice is yours. No matter what the reason for your visit to Story Box Library, we help children journey to that most uniquely precious place, the wilds of their own imagination.

Our stories have been selected with children of pre-school and primary age in mind. Stories have been broken down into the following categories: Pre-school (3 – 5 years); Lower Primary (5 – 7 years); Middle Primary (8 – 10 years) and Upper Primary (10 – 12 years).

Access is available using your library membership via https://grenfellpubliclibrary.org.au/elibrary/
