Library Catalogue Hint

You just found out that a movie you are looking forward to seeing when cinemas reopen is based on a book. You can find the list of books made into movies or TV shows that are held by the library by visiting https://grenfellpubliclibrary.org.au/books-made-into-movies-or-tv-shows/. The list is ever-growing. Each title is linked to the catalogue which will let you reserve a title or two for collection or delivery.

Message for those wanting to join the library during COVID-19

As of Wednesday 14 April, for those who are not library members but would like access to BorrowBox and Story Box you can now join online via the library website.

Please note that this does not give you access to the physical collection or the new indyreads™.

eResources

Reminder that even though the library is physically closed you have access to the online collection. This includes BorrowBox for eAudio and eBooks with titles available for everyone, Story Box Library for streaming of kid’s titles and the new indyreads for eBooks which gives titles for everyone. These are all free as part of your membership. If you have any issues, please contact the library.

Upcoming online events

Library Week is held annually at the end of May and even though we are physically closed it is still going ahead but online. Look out for the 20th annual National Simultaneous Storytime session on Wednesday 27th at 11am streaming on the library Facebook page. In the meantime, on our website you will find various activities for the kids to complete.
