As of Wednesday 14 April, for those who are not library members but would like access to the eResources including BorrowBox and Story Box you can now join online via the library website.

School holiday activities

School holidays are currently underway and the below are a couple of fun competitions to keep you occupied.

Submit a short story

Topic: What I did during the school holiday during social isolation.

Did you have a birthday or helped celebrate someone’s birthday? Face time with family and friends to stay in touch. What fun and creative activities did you come up with to stay occupied? Do you have any siblings to help pass the time? Have you wanted to run away and hide as they are so annoying?

Tell us what you have been up to during the social isolation and you could win a prize.

Submit via either email [email protected] or in hard copy via the after-hours return chute.

These will then be published in book form as a reminder of a school holiday during social isolation.
