LIBRARY LINES for week beginning 3 February 2020

This Saturday (Feb 8) is movie night. The movie is Judy. Seats can be booked via the Library. FOGL will be hosting the candy bar. Doors open 7.45pm and the movie will start at 8pm.

Don’t forget those participating in the 1,000 books before school program that your first presentation morning is this Saturday 8 February at 10am.

Preschool Storytime is back today (Wed 5) at 11am. This year we will have Baby bounce at 10.30am. Both programs will be held every second Wednesday from today during school term only.

I have been asked multiple times to run classes on book covering. Well here you go. The first session will be today (Wed 5) at 2pm and then again tomorrow (Thurs 6) at 5pm. Please bring your books, scissors and contact and I will show you how to cover the books.

Only a few new magazine titles received this week and they include Real Living, Australian Women’s Weekly food, Marie Claire and Australian Traveller.

Some more kids’ books are available this week and they include Sta Wars: Battles for the galaxy; Attack of the Clones; The Phantom menace; A new hope; Revenge of the sith; Return of the Jedi and The empire strikes back.

There are new fiction titles available this week and they include A single thread by Tracy Chevalier, Out of time by Steve Hawke, The Dutch house by Ann Patchett, You don’t know me by Sara Foster, Westwind by Ian Rankin, The Spitfire girls by Jenny Holmes, The Queen’s tiger by Peter Watt and Quantum by Patricia Cornwell.
