LIBRARY LINES for week beginning 3 December 2018

Thank you to everyone who gave up their time and helped with the renovations last week. I could not have completed the work without any of you.

The latest nonfiction titles this week include Grim, crims & convicts by Jackie French, Embrace yourself by Taryn Brumfitt, Can I tell you about anxiety? By Lucy Willetts, Interval weight loss for life by Dr Nick Fuller, The asshole survival guide by Robert I. Sutton, Winging it by Emma Isaacs and Stop staring at screens by Tanya Goodin.

There are some great fiction titles this week and they include King of ashes by Raymond E. Feist, War of the wolf by Bernard Cornwell, Fairytale by Danielle Steel, The girl from Munich by Tania Blanchard, The year of the farmer by Rosalie Ham, Ladies in black by Madeleine St John and Predator by Patricia Cornwell.

The latest kids’ books include Tom Gates in genius ideas (mostly) by L. Pichon, Friday Barnes big trouble by RA Spratt, Tom Weekly in my life and other exploding chickens by Tristan Bancks, Sofia the First: the last song, Hark, its me Ruby Lee! By Lisa Shanahan, Magnus Chase and the sword of summer by Rick Riordan, Ranger’s Apprentice: The royal ranger in a new beginning by John Flanagan, Tiny Timmy on holiday by Tim Cahill, Big Nate on a roll and Big Nate in a class by himself by Lincoln Pierce.

There are some great new DVDs available this week and they include Happy end, Ocean’s 8, Tag, Pacific rim uprising, Sing, Deadpool, Go back to where you came from series 2 and I kill giants.

Friday 7 December from 3pm. Board games & Lego. Why not challenge a friend or two to a game?

Saturday 8 December 10-11am Christmas Craft. $5 per child. Bookings and payment required. Limited places.

Saturday 8 December 6.45pm for a 7pm start. Free movie in the cinema. We are showing the Australian classic The Castle. So, bring your cushions and bean bags and enjoy a true Australian classic movie.

Wednesday 12 December 10.30am Preschool Storytime for 3 to 5-year old’s. Siblings welcomed. This is the last session for the year.

Friday 14 December from 3pm. Board games & Lego. Why not challenge a friend or two to a game? This is the last session for the year.

Saturday 15 December 10-11am Christmas Craft. $5 per child. Bookings and payment required. Limited places.
