LIBRARY LINES for week beginning 4 June 2018

I am looking for volunteers to help with the Second-hand book sale during the Henry Lawson Festival. There is no heavy lifting required. You can work for a minimum of 1 hour or a few hours. The sale will be held on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 4pm inside the Library. If you are interested, please contact the Library and I will slot you into the schedule.

Reminder that the Library will not be operating as a Library this Friday and Saturday due to the Festival.

There are some great new magazine titles that are available for loan. They include Better Homes and Gardens, Choice, Choice Computer, Gardening Australia, Instyle, Country Style, Science Illustrated, Taste, Australian Geographic, Vogue, Real Living, Grass Roots, Australian Patchwork & Quilting, 4×4 Australia and NSW Fishing & Boating.

The latest nonfiction books include Coding for kids 2, Home lab by Robert Winston, How to be a scientist by Steve Mould, Lonely Planet: Wine Trails, Gardening school by Simon Akeroyd, Everything I know about cooking I learned from the Country Women’s Association of NSW, Ramsay’s best menus, A single tree by Don Watson, 1001 road trip you must take before you die and The art of botanical & bird illustration.

Some of the latest Large Print titles include Dare not linger by Nelson Mandela, The geraldi trail by Max Brand, Ute peak country by Lauran Paine, The woman in the window by A J Finn, Fast & loose by Stuart Woods, Riders of paradise by Robert J Horton, The man from Jerusalem by Jack Martin and Cross roads by Logan Winters.

The latest fiction titles include The pleasure of my company by Steve Martin, Warlock by Wilbur Smith, The red coast by Di Morrissey, The year that changed everything by Cathy Kelly, The art of preserving love by Ada Langton, The women in the window by A J Finn, The lost quilter by Jennifer Chiaverini, Elianne by Judy Nunn and Silver Linings by Debbie Macomber.

Some great new DVD titles are now ready for loan and they include Dunkirk, Outlander Seasons one volume one and two Coco, Intern, Downton Abbey seasons 3, 4, 5 and 6, The Nut job 2, The white princess, The man who invented Christmas, Murder on the orient express, Call me by your name, Justice league, Red Dog – True Blue and The mountain between us.
