LIBRARY LINES for week beginning 14 May 2018

Library Week is next week, and we will be hosting National Simultaneous Storytime on Wednesday 23 at 10.45am, the Biggest Morning Tea at 10.30am on Thursday 24 and Board games & Lego at 3pm on Friday 25. So, come on down and check out the Library and the recent changes to the space.

This week’s magazine titles are Australian House and Garden, Tech life, Backyard and Australian Home beautiful.

Some of the great new large print titles include The doomsday bunker by William W. Johnstone, The whispering room by Dean Koontz, The rules of magic by Alice Hoffman, Promise not to tell by Jayne Ann Krentz, Smile by Roddy Doyle, Tangled destinies by Diana Palmer, Unbound by Stuart Woods and The best of us by Joyce Maynard.

The latest DVD titles are Wonder, Jumanji, The Post, Hampstead, Downsizing, Psychiatry: friend or foe?, Bike heroes, ANZACS: remembering our heroes and Galapagos with David Attenborough.

The latest talking book titles include Death of a village by M.C. Beaton, Doctor Who: the five doctors by Terence Dicks and Doctor Who: Rhythm of destruction by Darren Jones.

Friday 18 May, Book sale donation drop off. 10am – 12pm. Entry off George St down the driveway to our storage space.

Friday 18 May, Law Week talk – Criminal law/Police powers between 4 and 5pm.
