Law Week is next week and in partnership with GGM the Library is hosting talks. This is where you will be able to listen to our local lawyers discuss various topics and ask questions. Topics include How the Personal Properties securities Register will affect you in your everyday life; Wills, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardians and Criminal law/Police powers.
The following week is Library Week and we will be hosting National Simultaneous Storytime at 10.45am on Wednesday 23, the Biggest Morning Tea at 10.30am on Thursday 24 and Board games & Lego at 3pm on Friday 25. So, come on down and check out the Library and the recent changes to the space.
This week’s magazine titles are Small Farms, Vogue, Australian Traveller, National Geographic Kids, Marie Claire, Australian Woodsmith, Australian Country and NSW Fishing & Boating.
Some of the great new nonfiction titles include Building amazing creations by Sean Kenney, Healthy kids cookbook, Women in Science by Rachel Ignotofsky, ANZAC animals by Maria Gill and The best ever recipes by The Australian Women’s Weekly.
The latest DVD titles are Sherlock series four, Downton Abbey series 1 and 2, A place to call home series 5 and Big little lies series 1.

Wednesday 9 May, Knit, Knatter & Nibble. From 10.30am. Come and join us to knit or crochet poppies for the window display for the Centenary of the end of World War I.
Friday 11 May, Board games and Lego. Some great new games have been bought so come on down and check them out.
Saturday 12 May, Book sale donation drop off. 10 – 11.30am. Entry off George St down the driveway to our storage space.

Wednesday 16 May, Preschool storytime for 3 to 5 year old’s at 10.30am. Siblings welcomed.
