LIBRARY LINES for week beginning 30 April 2018

The Henry Lawson Festival is only 5 weeks away and the planning is coming into the final stages. Book Donation drop offs are on again this week. These can be dropped downstairs at our downstairs storage via George St. Remember to pull into the driveway and enter at the side door. See dates and times below. I am also still looking for donations of clean flat sheets to use to cover the shelving in the library.

Law Week is coming up next month and in partnership with GGM the Library is hosting talks. This is where you will be able to listen to our local lawyers discuss various topics and ask questions. Topics include How the Personal Properties securities Register will affect you in your everyday life; Wills, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardians and Criminal law/Police powers.

The latest magazine titles to arrive include Australian Patchwork & Quilting and 4×4 Australia.

Some new large print titles are ready for loan and they include Bandit’s trail by Frank Pierce, I am the law! By Hank J. Kirby and Wyoming blood feud by Dale Graham.

The latest kid’s titles include Holiday adventures by Enid Blyton, Easter egg express by Susannah McFarlane, Bread; Along come Jake; Scat!
