LIBRARY LINES for week beginning 26 March 2018

Easter is this weekend, and the library will be closed. So, come on down before 5pm tomorrow (Thursday 29) to collect your reading and DVD supplies for the four-day weekend. The Library will reopen at 10.30am on Tuesday.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Senior’s Morning Tea on Tuesday 27 March at the Uniting Church Hall. A big thank you to all the FOGL members for their hard work in organising and preparing the morning and to our performers. It is so great to see so many talented people in our town.

New magazines recently received are Quarterly essay, Vogue, real living, International traveller, Country Style.

The latest fiction titles ready for loan include Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer, Crazy rich Asians by Kevin Kwan, Inheriting Edith by Zoe Fishman, Ready player one by Ernest Cline and Nighthawk by Clive Cussler.

And for the kids we have What the fluffy bunny said to the growly bear by P Crumble, Tracking champ by Brendon Terrell, The emoji movie, The complete adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie by May Gibbs, The caravan family, The naughtiest girl, Five on a treasure island, The find-outers and Naughty Amelia Jane by Enid Blyton, The girl with the lost smile by Miranda Hart, Big Nate : game on by Lincoln Pierce, Burn by Paula Weston, Rapture by Lauren Kate and Hunger by Michael Grant.

The latest DVDs include Living with water and 5 star ATV safety.

We even have some great new talking book titles that include A time for renewal, A time to remember and Legacy of Greyladies by Anna Jacob and Mightier than the sword by Jeffrey Archer.

Wednesday 11 April, Preschool storytime is on again from 10.30am for the 3 to 5 years old. Siblings are welcome.

Friday 13 April, Board games and Lego from 3pm to 4.45pm. Grab some friends and challenge them to a game or two. There are some new games to be played.
